Information processed by the tool
When you run the test, the app may process your IP address, ISP name, approximate city, region and country, browser connection information, device/browser details exposed by the browser, and test results such as download speed, upload speed, ping, jitter and packet loss.
How information is used
This information is used to run the speed test, show network details, compare your result with an advertised plan where available, generate result cards and improve the usefulness of the site. Speed results may also be saved locally in your browser history panel so you can compare recent tests on the same device.
Local storage and cookies
The app uses browser localStorage for features such as recent test history, saved language and optional ISP plan settings. If analytics or advertising tools are added later, they may use cookies or similar technologies according to their own disclosures. You can clear localStorage and cookies from your browser settings.
Third-party services
The test may contact external endpoints used for measuring network performance and IP/network lookup. Those services can receive technical request information such as your IP address and user agent as part of normal internet operation.
